CRT prides itself on offering a complete in-house recycling service for all electronic equipment. We welcome you to visit our facility and see for yourself why CRT Processing should be your partner in electronics recycling."

  • Jim Cornwell
Vice President, CRT Processing, LLC

CRT Processing, LLC. is a Wisconsin based company which specializes in the proper recycling of used or obsolete computer monitors, televisions, and other electronic equipment. CRT Processing recycles electronic equipment to their component parts including the regeneration of Cathode Ray Tubes into new CRT glass. This process referred to as "Glass to Glass Recycling" is the preferred method of recycling by State and Federal regulatory Agencies.

Our recycling process utilizes industry proven, time tested physical separation processes that result in the most efficient and consistent separation of electronic components into glass, metals, and plastics. Virtually everything can be recycled.

Why Should Companies Recycle?

Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT's) found in most computer monitors and televisions contain lead. The amount of lead in each CRT can be considered hazardous and must be managed properly. Many States and Landfill operators have already banned the disposal of obsolete electronics containing CRT's. All CRT glass used in a manner constituting disposal may be subject to full hazardous waste management standards. Businesses could be subject to fines and/or penalties for the improper disposal of obsolete electronic equipment.
